Why we exist
The five hours that become two.
Most students don't struggle because they lack content. They struggle because they don't focus on the content the right way. They sit down for five hours, and only about two are genuinely effective study. The rest is spent circling the syllabus — rereading, reorganizing notes, starting over — without ever converging on real understanding.
That's the gap Sensei Strategy is built to close. Our tutors aren't here to be a comforting voice. What we offer is a commitment: once you understand a lesson, that knowledge is what carries you into the exam room. And once your content is solid, we layer on the exam technique — reading questions the way an examiner reads answers, working directly from official marking schemes — that turns a good answer into a full-mark one.
That difference is not small. It's the difference between a candidate who leaves with an 85% outcome and one who leaves with everything they were capable of.
What guides every session
Four principles, one standard
Content before strategy
We will not teach a shortcut around content a student hasn't actually learned. Strategy sits on top of understanding — never in place of it.
Marking-scheme literacy
Every mock and past paper is reviewed against the real marking scheme, so students learn exactly what separates a partial answer from a full-mark one.
Honest time management
We help students diagnose where their study hours actually go, and rebuild a routine where more of that time is genuinely effective — not just logged.
Global, board-aware support
We work with Pearson Edexcel and other major examination boards, supporting private candidates and international students wherever they sit their exams.
